I feel I need to apologize for not keeping up with this blog. I was so excited about getting started with helping others and being on the path I felt I was meant to be on. As usual life gets in the way of our growth and our path.
I had lost my mentor and teacher back when this was first made. If it hadn't been for my dear friend Matthew Stapley, I am not sure I would have made it through. My teacher passed away before she was able to give me my third attunement. I was lost and wasn't sure if I was even going to be able to pursue this path. He so graciously offered to help me and was able to finish out my studies.
The thing of it is, I realize now that I was not ready. I felt defeated because I could not help my friend/teacher. Each night I would send a dove to her carrying Reiki energy to her. My intentions were always clear. I so wanted her to get better. I have realized since then that I was letting my ego get the best of me. The energy comes from our Creator and through us it touches others. Yes, it can heal. It can take away pain. It can ease a person's passing. We can not will it to do what we want it to do. All we can do is put our intentions out there and pray that we are heard and if it is not what Spirit wants then we have to let go and accept. At least we try and do our best. That's all we can do.
I pray for each and every one of you tonight. Receive the healing energy of Reiki. Allow it to flow through your body. Healing for your mind, body and spirit.
